ytvideodown.online stores no video files — the service resolves publicly available format information for URLs visitors paste. Takedown notices therefore concern access through the service rather than hosted content. That distinction doesn’t change our responsiveness: valid notices get acted on.

How to file a notice

A complete notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) includes all six of these:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
2. The specific URL(s) involved, so we can locate the material.
3. Your contact information — name, address, email.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices slow everything down — six items, one email, done.

What happens next

• We acknowledge notices within two business days.
• Valid notices are acted on promptly.
• Where feasible, we notify the affected party of the action taken.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was identified by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact information, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was an error, your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court (or equivalent), and your physical or electronic signature.

Repeat infringement

Abusive request patterns are rate-limited and may be blocked outright, as described in our terms of service. We keep the service honest for the people who use it honestly.
